Frequently asked questions

When does the 2025 season start and finish?

The season is expected to start in March/April and run until August/September. Exact dates will be confirmed in the coming weeks as soon as we receive them from our association. Your team coach will contact you as soon as more information is available (via WhatsApp).

When will training be?

Training will begin in March (exact date TBC). We thank you for your patience, as soon as training dates have been announced, your coach will contact you via WhatsApp.

When will team trials be held?

Click here for information about upcoming team trials. Please note that most teams will NOT have trials.

Do I need to buy a uniform?

All players will receive a Merrylands SFC top as follows:

Under 6’s to Under 11’s:
You will get a new top every year to be worn only at games.

Under 12’s to All Age men/women:
Jerseys and socks will be provided in registration fees and these can be kept by the players. However, if Merrylands SFC shorts are needed they will need to be purchased for $25 at the Merrylands SFC clubhouse ahead of the first game.

Shin pads are also available at the clubhouse for $10. You are not required to purchase these from the clubhouse but you must have shin pads in order to play in the competition.
